I believe that each student should learn to be in charge of their own education. My goal is to help them achieve that goal. I am not quick to jump in with the answer but can wait patiently for them to work through the problem. Since I learned by a very different method than my teachers tried to teach, I look for a students learning style. If he is not getting the concept, I'll try another or even invent one on the spot.
