Dyslexia is one of my top subjects! I have training and certification in multisensory learning techniques. I apply some of these techniques to even on-level students if they have a weaknesses in reading, writing, and/or spelling.

I have taught for many years in all levels of secondary school, alternative schools, and tutoring centers.I eat, sleep, and drink tutoring as I tutor every day during the school year and do lots of research to help my kids in whatever academic subject is causing them difficulty. I began my teaching career for the first five years as a high school English teacher and taught regular college prep English courses.The next five years I taught English at the middle school level.Next, I got married and resigned from teaching when our first child was born. For the next twenty!!years, I raised four children and tutored kids sporadically. After all the kids had entered school, I began substituting in our school district and substituted everyday in the high schools and middle schools.
