I have a very fair, effective teaching style that envelopes the idea of the entire classroom as a teaching tool. Using every method to reach every child at his or her own level. When I teach, I feel I am contributing and learning at the same time, this gives me a great feeling of worth. My teaching style is very much one of observation and tailoring lessons to fit the student best. I typically use one series of method books, but sometimes choose other repertoire outside of the curriculum in order to best teach the student in the area that they need. I have had students with Asperger's syndrome (a form of autism) and dyslexia.I have also taught all age groups, ranging from 4 years to 65 years. After obtaining a Masters of Science with a Minor in Education, teaching has become my life pursuit. Even when working for a large Biotech firm, I have tutored for one year in public schools during my lunch hour.
