I specialize in working with elementary school children as well as middle school children. Although I have worked mostly in Film and Television since graduating from University, I returned to the University of LaVerne in Athens, Greece in 2004 to tutor foreign students in essay writing and to help hem with their entrance exams. I worked there part-time (3 days a week) for 2 years. I continued tutoring 2 students privately for another year. In 2009 I tutored after-school English at DeAnza Middle School in Ventura for approximately 6 months. I am a very caring teacher. I love to use humor and encouragement in the hopes that the students will feel inspired to continue and flourish in their writing, even after our time together is over. I believe in children and their ability to acheive anything, and try to relay that message to them in a fun and patient way. I love to see the spark ignite in the eyes of someone who has achieved something they didn't know they could.

I completed my Undergraduate Degree with a double major in Marketing and Finance and then went on to study in Graduate School for my MBA with a specialty in Financial Planning. I have also completed the coursework for my Certified Financial Planning Designation. I have been responsible for papers, essays, calculus, algebra, statistics, writing, language arts, biology and of course, finance, accounting and business. I took ballet for 9 years and have taught for the last 2 years. I teach ages 2.5 years - 8 years. I am also trained in Web Design. I have previous work experience as a Teacher Assistant and have tutored children of all ages, Elementary through Highschool, including at the Undergraduate Level.
