The very first task is to assess the student's age and learning style. Once this is determined I select the teaching style to best accomodate the student's needs. Although I have used Expert and Formal formats, I prefer to incorporated Personal and Facilitator styles. Personal establishes a prototype for how to think and behave. It oversees, guides, and directs by showing how to do things. Facilitator guides and directs students by asking questions, exploring options, suggesting alternatives. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is to have a set of problems made up for the students to observe as examples to help understand certain chapters. I will assign additional problems if needed and focus on the subject matter that is the hardest for the individual to understand.
I have taken statistics and gotten an A in the course and still have all course materials to give a general overview of statistics and how to use SPSS. I am knowledgeable on the software and would be able to answer questions on statistics because of how well I did and how I used to help others who struggled with the class.
