A Little Bit About Me...

Homeschooling Mom to my 2 boys for the past 5 years. Have taught them pre-K through 6th grade. They have received consistent A's and A+'s as well as 98th-99th %ile on the CAT tests every year. They have both also medaled every year in their homeschool group's annual spelling bee, both winning 1st place in their different age groups for three consecutive years. I enjoy earnest and humble students, learning with and from them. I feel uncomfortable not learning laterally as well as vertically, seeing that to be knowledgeable, one must not just memorize but ruminate on what was memorized, making as many lateral connections as expedient. I like to simply direct and expand a student's learning as opposed to an artifactual accomplishment; however, my premiere obligation is punctual achievement of task.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a graduate of one of the top state schools in New York, I have always believed in the importance of education. I have a BA in art studio, 2 years of biology/chemistry, and Calculus I&II, which has given me a well rounded education. I have also developed a higher level of writing skills through my research papers and laboratory write-ups. My latin classes have given me a better understanding of vocabulary and the derivatives of different languages from latin. The past year I have been studying chemical and physical aspects of my visual arts. I find ways to be diverse in the way I learn.

As a graduate of a SUNY school I had the pleasure of studying with people from all walks of life. I earned a Bachelor in History which I find vital for the development of our modern world. My writing skills have been developing since my High School studies and it only prepared me for my college writing assignments.
