My style involves asking key/critical/opened-ended questions to guide the tutee towards ways of improving his or her writing skills, grammar, and arguments/critical thinking content so that (s)he can write at his or her optimal level.
I intensively studied English Literature at the University of California, Berkeley (whose Literature Program is rated 2nd in the U.S., only behind Yale) and graduated with honors, summa cum laude in 2003. My approach depends on what level of students you are dealing with; and I am good at it. I always have some tactics on how boring subjects catch the student's interest. Teaching your kid doesn't need a genius one but first it does need somebody who has the heart to make them feel that they are special and making them feel that we, parents have confidence with our kids. We only need and want the best for our kids. A Tutor like me has some fun style for them to absorb lessons step by step.
