My comments on tutoring Math : I am a 28-year veteran teacher who recently retired. I tutor students in reading. language arts and math. I use the Right Start Math Intervention program which includes numerous manipulatives and games making it highly visual, engaging and fun for all ages.

I have 28 years of teaching experience, a master's degree, and am Rank 1 certified in reading, language arts, and math. I have experience with one-on-one online and in-person tutoring and small group intervention. In addition, I have two children with dyslexia and ADHD, so I am experienced, both as a parent and teacher, with special needs students and the educational complications for students and families.

My comments on tutoring Math : After teaching high school math for 16 years, I started pursuing my doctorate in mathematics education. After 16 years of high school classroom teaching experience in Missouri, I decided to pursue my doctorate in education at UK. I'm certified in secondary math grades 7-12 in both Missouri and Kentucky and have 4 years of college level teaching as well. I can make learning fun, No Doubt!

I am a junior at EKU working toward my Bachelor of Science. Education major with concentrations in Math and English. A Little Bit About Me...

I believe the best way to learn is by working one on one and then taking the lessons learned and working out problems with out a tutor present and then bringing back the problems that caused a struggle. Even better is working in a group of peers and then checking in with a tutor weekly so that the student and tutor can zero in on what the sticking points were that week.
I have been teaching and tutoring mathematics since the age of 15. I started working at a tutoring center where the student's ages ranged from 4-15. Experienced Tutor with Expertise in Math and Social Science
