While completing my masters in Special Education, I have learned creative ways to help children with special needs that I work with. I have designed and coordinated a Resource Center to help students with special needs learn and achieve at their level. I have also designed and implemented a school for children with special needs. I believe that every child has a right to learn. I believe that, no matter what kind of problem or learning disability that student has, that he/she deserves to learn. It is the responsibility, not only of the teacher, but the parents, grandparents, siblings and community to help children receive the best education that they can. I recently graduated from Belhaven College in Jackson Mississippi with a degree in Elementary Education. I currently hold valid teaching lisenses in both Mississippi and Delaware for teaching students from Kindergarten to 6th grade. I have also taught a wide randge of subjects including: Reading, Basic Math, General Science, American History, Social Studies, Geography, Study Skills, Dance, Theatre, Mime, Sign-Language, Pilates, and Bible. The past ten years of my life I have spent developing my knowledge about teaching while also applying the things I have learned in real-life teaching and tutoring situations.
