from experience, i can say different people learn differently and the best way to teach is to identify the way in which an individual is put to think. for example boys learn easily when quantities are expressed in numbers whereas girl grasp faster when quantities are related to their eventual effect.I believe all children can meet their potential if they are given the appropriate surroundings and learning experiences. my way of teaching as always been reducing complex concepts to imaginable day-to-day phenomena.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am very adaptive to students learning style. I usually spend the first ten minutes of our first meeting figuring out what the student is struggling with and how to best meet their needs. I try to teach students more how to think analytical more so then just solving problems because it is more beneficial to the student. I feel that if I can teach the student how to read theorems, understand concepts, then problems just become easy at that point.
I started tutoring part time in 2004 and have continued this throughout college. I worked as a math tutor for tulsa community college part time during the summer. I have earned over 190 hours of college credit, I have two degrees, and I am only 15 hours away from a chemical engineering degree.
