Painting is one of my top subjects! I am most experienced in oil paints but will primarily teach in watercolor, gouache and acrylic for ages under 13.

I believe that homeschooling and private lessons allow kids and adults to learn and understand their subject matter quicker, more efficiently, and with close guidance. I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I go through all the concepts with the individual pertaining to what portion of statistics they are studying at that time. I will then walk them through a couple of examples demonstrating how to properly obtain the correct answer. I will follow that up by asking them to do a problem without any direct instruction from me. I will watch them work on the problem to assure they are working on it properly. If any mistakes are made I will politely point them out as the individual is working. Finally, I will ask them to work on problems completely on their own and I will check their answers when they are done. I feel the only way to learn statistics, or any math for that matter, is through repetition and working on a lot of problems.

I have also worked with At risk high school students. I am currently a professional caregiver and activity aide in a group home with individuals who have physical and cognitive disabilities.
