As a junior and senior finance major, I routinely tutored fellow classmates in several finance and business courses. As a junior I showed many of my classmates how to excel in several areas of business, such as, finance, accounting, human resources, and management. As a senior I tutored many of my friends and colleagues in many finance courses, such as, portfolio management, financial engineering, and personal finance. When I was a kid I used to ask questions about things. My questions were usually of the natural sciences bent. I was eight. As an adult, knowing I was going to have a daughter, I discovered that I needed to be respected in the world for my knowledge so I could have a career that could support my daughter. I became a great student. After a while I found that it wasn’t just chemistry that I loved. It was TEACHING chemistry that I loved. It was sharing the knowledge and sharing the discovery.
