My teaching style would best be described as finding the best methods to help students learn a subject and then using them. No two students are exactly alike so why teach them that way?

I understand that each child and person learns differently (Auditory, Visual, Tactile) so I try to discover their style and incorporate as much as possible. I have always been a tutor of sorts. I love to teach kids because of the sparkle they get in their eyes when they finally understand what they are being taught. I believe in presenting each child with a verbal and visual explanation of each objective. I then believe that each child needs the chance to complete a task with encouragement and success before independent work. Assessment should only be taken AFTER a child has experienced numerous chances for understanding, practice, and mastery.
