Speaking is one of my top subjects! I have completed public speaking at the University of Florida with an A. I was the president and founder of a Toastmasters branch in South Florida. Toastmasters is a global organization that has weekly meetings to help people become better public speakers. I have given many presentations in many classes at UF and have always received compliments on my speaking. I am working my way to become a motivational speaker one day. I will teach my students the basics of speaking in public and social situations. I will teach how to overcome nervousness and how to have the audience pay attention 100% of the time.

I will teach Hebrew the way it is taught in a classroom, but also how it is spoken on the streets of Israel. There are many languages that have many dialects, Hebrew is not one of those languages, but Hebrew does have two versions. The proper way and the everyday life way. I will teach my students both ways so that they can communicate with anyone. For public speaking, I will teach through constructive criticism and by having various activities that will make you a better speaker.

Because I work with students from such varied backgrounds, I believe that the best method is one that allows for flexibility and at the same time incorporates lessons from several fields at once. For example, in both my GED and ESOL courses I incorporate music into my lesson plans. I find that music is an excellent avenue to explore contemporary topics that can then lead to essay topics.
