My teaching style relies heavily on feedback from the client. I try to have a phone call with a student to learn what they are having difficulty with but also what their professor might expect from them. Then I get a good sense of their personality to understand the best way to get ideas across to them. I try to take this same approach myself to figure out what is important to students and play on their interests and strengths to help them learn.
