Experienced. Effective. The logical choice.

I have always enjoyed teaching others sharing my love of learning. I find it most effective to use a variety of methods to successfully teach information. Material is best learned when it can be easily understood by the student and has practical applications for everyday life. I am not the type of tutor to just hand out answers to problems. I just finished at the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in Biology and Secondary education. I can teach 7-12th grade all science areas and really enjoy all levels of science. Going through high school and college I obtained a great work ethic which helped me succeed to the Dean's list, and various other titles. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in microbiology and zoology with a minor in chemistry. For the past 10 years I have worked in the science industry in many facets. Many facets only because I was trying to decide what I wanted to go graduate school for only to decide not to go once I was accepted. I have gained experience in the biotech industry working with RNA, in the newborn screening laboratory for the state health department working with recessive diseases. I am now a clinical reagent application specialist for Waters Corporation.
Depending on the age of child but especially thinking of biology and chemistry classes I think it is valuable to teach the person how to create different activities with the subject matter to learn the material.
