A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching experience began in High School when I started helping my friends with AP Calculus. I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering and working towards my master’s degree in biomedical engineering. Engineering has allowed me to understand math and the physical sciences in greater depth. Throughout my college years, I have helped my siblings and friends in understanding math and science using an approach that contains both a purpose and an unforgettable learning experience. In college I majored in Chemistry with a year in Physics and Biology. In High School I received the Chemistry Award. In college I gave drum lesson. I played for eighteen years. I was an art dealer for years and am very familiar with the various styles and periods of art which adds depth to the teaching process.
First I try and determine what it is that the student does not understand. Next I try and evaluate the way the student processes infrmation so I can explain the problem adn solution 'in their language'.
