My comments on tutoring Computer : Training Specialist with extensive experience in teaching Microsoft Office (MSO) Applications in both the federal and private sector. I have over 25 years experience teaching Microsoft applications to high school students, adults, displaced workers, veterans and federal employees.

I am a hands on instructor. I can identify user needs, pinpoint skill gaps and develop instruction to meet those needs. I have been recognized for the ability to develop and deliver professional training to many different types of learners. I plan, design and develop curriculum to include lesson plans, student guides and job aids for MSO Applications.
Since 1985 I have been working in the computer environment. I worked with data processing high school students at the Johnstown Vo-Tech for over 17 years. I began my teaching career by working in an urban setting in Pittsburgh. I graduated from IUP with a degree in Biology Education. I am certified in Biology and Middle School Science. I taught for one semester at Central Bucks School District where I taught Academic Biology, Astronomy and Oceanography. I then taught two years at Gateway School District where I taught 8th grade physical science. I now have a permanent position at Yough School District where I teach 7th grade Life Science. I am a retired chemist with 42 years of experience in industry. I hold a BS degree with a Chemistry major, and completed some graduate courses in Chemistry. During my career, I supervised laboratory technicians and taught them laboratory procedures and equipment operation. A Little Bit About Me...

As a first generation college student, I appreciated when teachers made me feel special, and I try to do the same. I was a Resident Assistant and Wellness Coordinator for a dormitory at WVU for three years, where I received a Resident Assistant of the Year Award. I currently teach four sections of general biology lab and two sections of comparative anatomy lab. I was awarded the 2010 Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year award for the Department of Biology with a 93% evaluation rate.
