While preparing for my degree in journalism, I was hired by The Daily Universe, BYU's student newspaper, to help students in the newswriting class with their pieces. Through one-on-one sessions with these students, I was able to see great improvement in their writing styles. Throughout my pre-college and university career, I have been praised for my writing ability as well as my knowledge of grammar, spelling, and expressive techniques. After my coursework at BYU, I completed an internship for Newsweek magazine in New York City, where I further perfected my craft.
