My comments on tutoring Statistics : I have extensive experience in tutoring statistics.

As a student in technical logical philosophy, I soon became very interested in advanced mathematics. Once I had acquired sufficient knowledge of advanced mathematics I began tutoring mathematics in 2003. I have continued to tutor math and have enjoyed thoroughly assisting students in their acquisition of mathematical knowledge. I graduated from the Catholic University of America in 2005 with a mathematics minor. My comments on tutoring Statistics : A+ in Stats 100 and A in Stats 450 at The University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. Also I just tutored my good friend this past semester in Statistics and she went from a 30% to a 90%.

I adjust to the learner and speak their language, establish rapport through mutual respect, and try and make it as fun as possible.

Every child can learn, so every child deserves to learn.

I have been teaching children younger than myself since I started teaching Sunday school classes and became a adolescent influence in my previous youth group. I new all along I was going to be a teacher. I have been tutoring my younger nephews since they are now in grade level courses. I have also had experience in the classroom as observing mentor teachers and assisting them in lesson plan creations. I will be enrolled in methods course this coming fall for my Elementary Education Professional Teaching program.
I teach in the way of Scaffolding. I give the learner all the assistance they need until they no longer need it any more. I start by giving a lot of cues and help with each step. Then I slowly take the training wheels off and each time, I let them show me more and more what they can do with out the help. I hope to create leaders.
