I started teaching while in college; I worked as a Teaching Assistant when school was in session (teaching college students) and as a camp counselor at a French immersion camp in the summers. This allowed me to work with students ages 8-22 and to develop different teaching styles for different ages. I am currently writing my PhD thesis; although the subject is Francophone, I'm writing in English and feel that I have strong writing skills and the ability to teach them. Teaching has always been my passion and I was excited to earn my bachelors degree in secondary education at the University of Northern Colorado in December of 1998.
