After receiving an MBA in Finance in 1988 I was immediately hired by IDS Investments and began a career as a financial advisor. Not long after, I began financing and managing start-up small companies. How do I summarize teaching in my life? I guess the best way to explain my teaching experience is to tell you a story. As a young girl I wanted to be a teacher. Because of my love of learning I taught all my siblings how to read. I know it is pretty funny but it is a true story. That led to my doing teaching seminars, which led to consulting, which led to training, which led to my working with individuals as a life coach. I have done accounting and payroll for about six years prior to about a year and a half ago switching over to do work in Information Systems where I am presently. I enjoy working with the mathematical side of my major very much and bring a lot of experience with that from my education. Math is definitely a strong suit for me.
