A Little Bit About Me...

Over 4 weeks of classroom experience as a long term substitute for two Latin 1 classes and a Latin 3 Pre AP class at LISD Marcus High School in Flower Mound, TX. Familiarity with all 4 of the major Latin textbooks: Wheelock’s, Cambridge, Latin for Americans and Ecce Romani; additional experience teaching Vergil’s Aeneid. LISD Chaperone for a three day trip to Austin for the TX State Junior Classical League (Latin Club) in March 2010 where I judged contests, helped with grading, watched after students, helped them get to their events, and cheered them on. Latin tutoring experience, weekly, one-on-one with 4 students grades 8th through 11th. •30 hours classroom observation in a Latin classroom, Latin I and Latin III Pre AP.
