My goal is to find the best way for an individual to learn.

I have worked with young people tutoring elementary and high school subjects as well as being a public school teacher for over 10 years. I have been a nanny for highly intelligent young people as well as those on the autism spectrum. My most recent success was with a 1st-2nt grader in reading and rebuilding self confidence.

As a Wesleyan graduate, I was interested in curriculum and Graphics and found myself working shortly there after in a youth-centered non-profit doing design work. I have several degrees and a teaching certification in Art. I have learned a great deal about designing and working with youth. I have worked with youth programs through the years and tutored in many subjects and most recently taught art in the public schools.
I like inspiring young people and believe that they will rise to your expectations. I am flexible, friendly and creative. I like presenting topics, working with a few ideas and generally giving a set of boundaries to explore within.
