I first began tutoring under the direction of Nancy Donohue-Berthiaume at Quinsigamond College. I turored in Introductory Accounting, basic and college level mathematics. In my Sophmore symester, I was presented with a challenge. A young man who was both Dislexic, and Mathlexic was failing basic mathematics. In less then 1/2 hour, I was able to help him go from failing grades to straight A's. Later, I tutored fellow students in Pre-Calculus while taking the course myself. I ended up with a 4.0 GPA in that class. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout high school and college I showed proficiency for mathematics as well as an ability to help teach those around me. After college I became a pension analyst and have studied for several actuarial exams. In my current position one of my responsibilities is to educate new hires or colleges on systems and processes. While pursuing my Engineering degree at Roger Williams University, I noticed that there were not too many students from low income families attending college. That is why I joined Bridge to Success Program on January 2001. BTS was a program, sponsored by Roger Williams University at the time, which focused in assisting and encouraging students from low income families as well as minorities.
