I'm a warm, dedicated person that enjoys to learn and teach.

I worked for Project Transformation through SMU. I tutored high risk and underprivileged children in Oakcliff with after school homework help. Their ages ranged from 5-12 years old. I along with my fellow tutors also provided extra intellectually stimulating activities when they finished their homework such as future planning and education regarding different cultures.
I provide as much one on one attention as possible. I provide examples, write out explanations using the board, and try to help the child progress without giving them the answer.

My comments on tutoring Trigonometry : Retired secondary classroom teacher after 32 years in public education. Currently teaching at several SAT/ACT College Prep Businesses in Plano, Frisco, Argyle, and Denton. I taught Math prep class lessons for SAT, ACT, TAKS,TASP,THEA,and STAAR Tests as well and regular and Pre-AP Trigonometry.

I am a retired classroom teacher after 35 years of teaching experience in public education. I currently teach at UNT and NCTC. I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, regular and Pre-AP Algebra II, regular and Pre-AP Pre-Calculus,Trigonometry, and SAT/ACT Prep. I have tutored students in preparing for SAT, ACT, TAKS, TASP, THEA, and STAAR Tests. A Little Bit About Me...

My experience with these subjects comes from my educational background. I have studied them all during my pre-college years and have also expanded my knowledge and experience during my time in college. While in high school, I completed several mathematics courses, including several semesters of calculus. I also embarked on a course which was interdisciplinary in nature and covered all required subjects not included in mathematics and science. Since I have been at college, I have participated in my university's honors program, and an interdisciplinary program in the honors college.
I try to clearly explain topics and concepts to others, avoiding making assumptions about what they might know or not know about the subject or topic. I have always had a passion for learning, and helping others learn. In middle school, High School and College, other students came to me for help with assignments. My degree in Engineering has given me plenty of experience in math and science. I have also had graduate courses in Physics and Engineering.
