I taught Physics, Algebra and Trigonometry for a local high school. From that point, the bulk of my career was as an engineer, nuclear, mechanical and electrical. I have a number of years in Project Management. I also have four years of experience teaching at a Technical College, where taught College Math, Computer Science and Accounting.
Teaching through positive re-enforcement. Present concept, allow student to demonstrate understanding, and then use a step-by-step approach to find out where lack of understanding occurs. The instructor should always be as positive as possibe and try to make learning as enjoyable as possible.

I know that each student has an incredible amount of potential and the trick to unlocking it is not in forcing a set way of understanding ideas, but in approaching each problem from several different fronts and working towards a total understanding of one concept before moving on to the next. Secondly, laughter and enjoyment need to be part of the learning process. The most important aspect of education that I have learned is that it is not about teachers making a difference; it is about helping students make a difference. A Little Bit About Me...

I really enjoy being around kids and helping them learn new things. When you teach a kid something and they finally get it, the sight of their face lighting up is priceless. I believe that one should teach using a variety of methods because all kids do not learn the same way and each individual method shows something new each time.
