My comments on tutoring Writing : Good writing is difficult for everyone but there are many skills that can be taught to help. Writing is how one expresses themselves to those around the world. After seven years of post high school education I have learned many skills that have improved my writing dramatically. Writing is a subject I love to teach and help students with.

I have just finished law school. I grew up in Brazil as well as the United States which allowed me to become fluent in Portuguese as well as English without any accent. I enjoy computers and have learned many programs inside and out throughout my lifetime. Through college I took every computer class I could and even learned how to create a webpage using HTML formatting. Writing is one of my top subjects! I have in depth experience assisting students with their writing calamities on the middle school, high school and college levels. The ultimate goal for the students and I is that we end with a polished final draft that contains good grammar, punctuation, sentence structure and flow.

I grasped the importance of education at a very young age and excelled throughout school. My teaching and classroom management style is very authoritative. I like to set clear and concise classroom rules and expectations. Teachers should take time to set rules in a visible place for students, review them daily, and have consequences when the rules are not followed. However, students will be acknowledged for doing the right thing through classroom recognition or a prize. Students should have a set routine each day. This will allow them to know and understand what to expect with the classroom. If the routine has to be changed, this is explained ahead of time and students are guided into the transition. This will alleviate discipline problems.
