I love helping people succeed. I have an ability to show someone a new way of looking at things, which is sometimes the only thing keeping a person from understanding. I also have a great ability at reading someone and noticing when they don't understand. Sometimes people are too embarrassed to speak up and ask for help, even when I'm there for that exact reason. I am a very motivating teacher. I encourage my students to strive to do their best with the philosophy that they will be amazed at what they can accomplish. I try to get my students excited about the maaterial by incorporating fun stories, experiments, videos, or examples into the material. I am very patient and believe that repitition is a key to learning. I like to repeat what I am teaching in many different ways before my students are tested on the material; this seems to be successful.

While attending and completing four years of Education courses at a well respected institution I was focused and driven to complete the curriculum and focus on creative lesson planning. Maintaining a GPA of 3.6 in Education courses while participating in four years of collegiate sports really polished my ability to multi-task.
