Teacher Cert Exams is one of my top subjects! I have tutored teachers from several states so that they might be prepared to pass their state teacher certification exam. I teach students how to "beat" the test.

I believe learning should always be engaging and meaningful. It is critical to address individual student learning modalities and needs so the student can experience great success. As an Adult Education teacher I taught learners from High School age through 70 year-olds. I taught office occupations; ESL; and GED, ABS, HS diploma and citizenship. A Little Bit About Me...

I use the Active Participation strategy because it engages the learner not only in understanding but in contributing as well. This active learning process combined with introduction of practical uses/examples of the the subject matter provides a deeper meaning. But most of all the Objective,Purpose,and what their interests are, must be known so that these can be incorporated in the learning process.
I have been a substitute teacher for about 10 years specializing in math & physics. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering plus 20+ years of maintenance/engineering experience. I incorporate practical examples in teaching to give students in depth knowledge in a practical sense. I gather my examples from my varied career experiences from the Military, Aircraft, Engineering, Manufacturing/Maintenance & Computer fields. I sporadically tutors students in my specialty.
