I love the Direct Teaching Method, which speaks directly to a child's Learning Style (visual, tactile, auditory, etc.) I start out a session with an activity to capture the child's attention. The guided lesson in reaing, writing, math and language arts is conducted through comprehensive explanation and demonstration. A Little Bit About Me...

In previous work evaluations my supervisor has described my teaching style as "Experiential". I have a passion to teach with example and hands on practial skills. I created a game in which to teach parents and children how to get rid of their "hang ups". My motto is "Reaching Higher" and I thoroughly enjoy helping a child or adolescent reach higher to understand their full potential. It is an "ah ha" moment for both myself and an individual that I might be teaching, when they "arrive" at that point, to reveal their own learning style.
