Over the past 4 years, I've worked at the Colton Community services recreatioon depatrment. As an employee I've worked in Drop-In Recreation, in which I provide my assistance in helping the children do homework and tutor them as they needed. fot the past year and a half, we've started a new program called Homework help, which is to focus more on helping the students one on one with homwwork, reading, math, projects, etc. I am currently working on getting my AA in Child Devolpment to continue my drive to become a teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

During my four years at Colorado State University, I tutored high school and college students in math and spanish. I also taught spanish to elementary school kids. After I graduated, I worked a part time position at Pueblo Community College as a Tutor/Lab Assistant. My most recent tutoring experience was working for Doctrina Tutoring (a San Diego, CA based tutoring company) this past school year. I tutored students from grade K to 12 in the areas of math, language arts, and spanish.
I always wanted to be a teacher, but ended up being an engineer. I enjoy teaching in general and tutoring is a way for me to practice teaching.
