I fundamentally believe anyone can learn. If a student isn’t grasping a concept, it just means I have to change my style of teaching. So what is my teaching style…anything that helps a student achieve his or her potential. But the one thing I teach all my students is how to find their learning style. Once you know how you retain information you can do anything.

A Little Bit About Me...

I started tutoring in 9th grade, and continued until my freshman year of college. I tutored middle school and high school students in math, sciences, and social studies. In college I tutored in Level 1 and 2 French, Psychology, and College Level Algebra. I have tutored both male and female students, and have worked with people with reading and learning disabilities.
I love working with people, and have a lot of patience. I work hard to let the student work through problems themselves before assisting them. A lot of students I have spent time with just need a small amount of encouragement and are very capable of completing their work. My teaching experience includes student teaching, substitute teaching, and several years of tutoring in both Vermont and Minnesota. I have just completed a student teaching experience at Winooski High School. In addition to feeling completely motivated I have just completed a Bachelors in Arts Degree in Secondary Education.
