My journey to becoming a medical student at the Chicago Medical School was driven by both a quest for excellence and a life-long love of science and learning. My educational background, encompassing both a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Medical Biotechnology, coupled with real life research experience has provided insights into how chemistry, biology, math, and physics all apply to everyday problems. During my studies I tutored/mentored several students in many areas such as Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc. Additionally, my research experience included extensive writing, providing a keen understanding of grammar, syntax, and the writing process. A Little Bit About Me...

During the last 2 years of my undergraduate career at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, I spent time leading moderate sized tutoring sessions. My scientific research experience is extensive as I have conducted 2 years of research in the field of neuroendocrinology. I received the James D. Anthony Award at the conclusion of my senior year for "outstanding undergraduate researcher." Two weeks after graduation, I became employed by the Medical College of Wisconsin conducting research on Juvenile Type I Diabetes. Over these past 4 years, I have tutored in all of the major concentrations of biology. I also have extensive tutoring experience in Organic Chemistry and basic mathematics.
