My comments on tutoring Sociology : I excelled at this subject in high school, as well as in college. I have always been fascinated by the systems and groups by which societies organize themselves, and understand how they interact and function very well.

I like to use the Socratic method, mainly by asking questions and challenging assumptions. In addition, I like to engage those I teach, challenging them to think about what they previously have not considered. I believe in building on successes, and offering constructive criticism, where appropriate.
I have mentored various people since 2000, in all types of subjects, including math, science, social sciences, English, writing, literature, and other related subjects. My academic record is very strong, and I believe empowering those I work with every single time. The only pre-requisites are that you have to be willing to learn, and learn how to learn.

I graduated from Roane County High School in 2009 with high honors, and was one of the top 2 students selected to win the Scholarship for Academic Services award from Roane State Community College. I went to RSCC for 2 years where I got my Associate of Science degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude (high honors). While there, I also worked in the college library and assisted librarians and students with needs. After graduating from RSCC, I went on to go to University of Tennessee to get my Bachelor's in Sociology/Criminal Justice. While completing my undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Idaho, I was often called upon to tutor people within the building where I lived during college. I also was employed by the University to grade papers and offer assistance to underclassmen in the Chemical Engineering department.
