I love to teach and help children of all ages (including adults) to further gain knowledge. Understanding is the biggest challenge that we can struggle with in this life. If we can work together to understand what has been found out, we can work together to create a more peaceful mind and world for our future. I am a firm believer that it takes hard work to accomplish goals but it also should include the lightheartedness of life.

A Little Bit About Me...

I love working with kids of all ages. All children are unique and they all learn in different ways. I believe its the teachers responsibllity to understand how their students learn best and then help communicate the curriculum to them in a way that they will best uderstand and retain that knowledge.
I was homeschooled for the majority of my education which enabled me to assit my younger brothers and sisters in their studies. I taught a few Science classes including botony and a study of birds and have tutored in highschool math as well. I played volleyball, took 3 years of piano, and was a member of Chior as well. I worked as a teachers aide in a preschool for 2 years. I worked with children from the age of 6 weeks to 5 years. I plan on going to college for either business or diognostic sonography.

I have recently graduated from Flinders University in South Australia with a MA (Teaching) of Secondary Special Education & year 6-12 Social Studies. In order to earn my degree, I completed two full time years of study and two ten week long formal teaching practicums where I taught a full (standard) course load in two grade levels of English, Social Studies, Health and Cross curriculum studies. I was a part time Aboriginal Education Officer at the Australian Mathematics & Science School, where I taught groups of students different English language and study skills.
