I have experience in working with children and young people in my missions and humanitarian work. I have lead teams of teenagers and worked with children in local schools, orphanages, and community organizations. I also worked at a daycare during my internship in 2004.

I like to see what works for each person since everyone has their own way of learning. Then, I use whatever works best for them. Making students comfortable is important since they're more open to learn in that environment.
As I was taking college courses, I also taught swimming lessons, after earning the ARC Lifeguard and WSI certificates. I also tutored grade school children during college in basic subjects. In college I also tutored other college students in basic English, as my major was communication and I have a fairly strong command of English. I also have experience in the newspaper industry and thoroughly enjoy helping people. I completed my BA in 2002.
