I have been working with children and adolescents in a variety of capacities for 20+ years. I truly enjoy their energy and their desire to be successful given the right encouragement and direction. For the past 4-5 years, I have been a substitute teacher and tutor for K-12, working with a culturally diverse mix, in the areas of math, English, science, health education, music, journalism, and theatre. I have received pictures, flowers and numerous other tangible "thank you's!" from parents and children and love this work! Given the right atmosphere, I honestly believe anyone can learn.
