My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I'm very good with this subject. I'm learning about early childhood education and taking courses for math and reading for prek-5 th grade.

I like to use different teaching styles l teach by helping them the problems on the board or I will explain piece by piece the problems to help students understand clearly
I have tutored my family members in math and reading. I also help my 5 yr old with ABCs phonics and math addition and subtraction. My comments on tutoring Elementary Reading : I am NYS certified in Literacy (grades 5-12) and English (grades 7-12), although I have several years of experience with children as young as Kindergarten.

Holding active NYS certifications in both English and Literacy has had a tremendous impact on the way I teach. I find myself much better able to engage struggling students. Quite often, particularly when it comes to reading, it is the lack of basic comprehension skills that prevent students from being able to fully engage with a text and to perform critical thinking tasks. I recently graduated from Montclair State University in 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration and a concentration in management. I have experience substitute teaching a wide variety of subjects at the elementary and high school level.
