I am a special education teacher with 6 credit hours to go until I have earned my Master in Adaptive Special Education. I student taught 5th grade, was a middle school special education para for the remainder of that school year once I earned my Bachelor's then transitioned into 2-4th grade adaptive Math, and all Language Arts. I enjoy using visuals and technology to reach students, keep them engaged, motivated, and enrich their learning. I love interacting with children and teenagers. I have worked with all kinds of students-- those who are developmentally challenged, those from different cultures (I have traveled broadly in Latin America and Europe and lived in the MIddle East - in Iran- during '07 and '08), those with behavioral challenges, and those who learn quickly.
