All through out Junior High School I did tutoring in math, science and English. I also volunteered to help the Mentally disabled kids in my school, I helped these kids by taking walks,playing games and reading to them. In High School, I was privileged to travel to Ireland with thee Biotech Academy and we taught 9 schools in 3 days about hands on Biotech activities such as teaching them about DNA using bracelets to show them what it would look like.

I have been in some type of teaching experience for five years. I have interned at two Junior High Schools and one High school. I have also completed my student teaching in English at a Junior High school. I currently tutor a friend’s sister in English and I have worked with students since I was a Sophomore in High School.

I love to use examples when I teach and I encourage the students to find their own mistakes. I think that once they can find their mistakes, they have a good grasp of the material. Through my experience with various different types of students, I have learned to adapt to their way of learning. Some may prefer practice while others may prefer hands on methods.
