I have found that a constructivist approach works best for most children, and I will always try this approach first. I try to make learning as hands on and relevant to the real world as possible.
I graduated from one of the top teaching schools in the nation (according to NCATE), and have a degree in elementary and special education. I specialized in math education, but am also qualified to teach English, science, and social studies. I have worked with children as young as 2 years old and as old as 15 in a formal setting. I have helped children go from hating a subject to being successful and loving it.

I have over twenty seven years of hands on experience in the accounting industry. The standards in the accounting program at UAH are set very high. Through the 10 course curriculum, all the test were taken from the CPA exam. Even though I thought I had learned alot at UAH, I have learned a great deal more by working and obtaining a certain amount of hands on experience.
I have over twenty years experience as a music teacher. Every student has been different in the way they respond to my teaching and the way they communicate.
