I am fluent in ASL from my years attending Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. I dream in sign. Worked as an interpreter since 2005. My studies in linguistics (presented at Harvard's first Linguistics conference in 2003) give me particular insight into the structure of the language and make it easy for me to identify and explain mistakes, so that you can see the bigger picture.
My goal as a tutor is to figure out what's missing that, if you had it, would make all the difference. That's the reason you pay for an instructor instead of just reading a book or watching a video.
