Most of the skills I have acquired were either through learning them during my time at school or through doing personal research because they interested me. I have done some tutoring in the computer/i.t field as a side job. Chess has been one of my favorite things to learn. Is she simply bored with the subject? The approach I take with the child depends on the answers to these questions. I come from a family of educators -- a college professor, a principal, an elementary school teacher, and a school counselor and basketball coach. I think all of these members of my family have influenced me in a positive way in regards to teaching. I am a compassionate, patient person and am willing to help when people need it.
