My comments on tutoring Political Science : I have published a 'Brief History of the United States" and have tutored many high school and college students in government and political science. I have run for and held public office, myself. I am patient and understanding.

I have been teaching college (History, Philosophy, Ethics, writing, reading, social studies) since the early 1980's. I prefer to allow the student to attempt to find answers on their own first, and only supply help when a student is clearly struggling to find the answer. I work through each lesson or homework assignment step-by-step with the student, making sure they understand each part before moving on.
