I've been an elementary school teacher for 10 years. I have a master's degree in education and am certified in the state of NC for K-6 education. I have taught and tutored kindergarten-5th grade. I am also Orton Gillingham certified. I am very hands-on - I use games just as much as traditional teaching methods.

Grandmother with Open Heart & Open Mind

Poor college kid trying to make a living

I’m good with kids, high school and below I can break it down easily, I have good study habits, and I like to encourage people to better themselves educationally. My best subjects are in high school is math and chemistry. And I could teach anything middle school and below. I am a digital media student so I am also good with computers.

A Little Bit About Me...

Friendly and engaging. Focus is on comprehension of the material rather than just completing the homework.
While I was in high school, I took honors courses and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. I tutored an 8th grade-9th grade boy in TCAPS preparation and helped him complete homework in Math (pre-algebra, algebra, and pre-geometry), Science (biology), and English. I tutored him for two years. After I graduated high school I was accepted to the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where I am currently in the spring semester of my sophomore year.
