A Little Bit About Me...

I have work with children in a non-profit/education/recreation capacity for nearly 10 years. Most recently I acted as an education director for a franchise tutoring company and spent a portion of everyday working directly with the students and meeting with parents to discuss their progress. In my professional career I focus primarily on Elementary and Middle School children and have a strong affinity to working with any child with Special Needs. A Little Bit About Me...

Great Question. I have been in classes where I found learning a challenge. This is what makes me unique as a teacher. I build a relationship with the student. I do my best to not only explain the material, but how they can possibly use it in the future. I also have the best patience. I will go over something over and over again, searching in my own mind for a different to present the material so it sticks.
I have always been a good teacher. I scored very well on the SAT exams, and I have extensive tutoring experience. I scored in the upper 10 percentile on the Mathmatics portion of the SATs. I also have been studying non stop for the CPA exam. I would love to pass on knowledge to someone else. Tutoring is rewarding.

I work best with individuals who are self-motivated and determined to succeed. I am the kind of teacher who responds to questions with questions. I understand that a lot of students are just looking for a sufficient answer, but this will not help them understand the material when they are required to take an exam.
