Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : As a novelist (soon to publish my first book), I encourage creativity with a solid background in grammar and composition.

Previous art experience includes a completion of 2D Design, 3D Design, and Basic Drawing I and II all at college level with a strong demonstrative understanding of basic concepts and techniques, including line, texture, form, depth, composition, color (including local, optical, monochromatic, analogous, triadic and tetradic), lighting (directional/atmospheric), shading, blending, gesture drawing, blocking, expressive mark, etc. Also completed History of Art and Architecture I and II at college level. From January 2006 through August 2008, I worked part-time as a freshman composition instructor, writing lab tutor, and teaching assistant for the English department at UNT. As an instructor, I taught two classes per long semester and one, intensive summer session. During the fall semesters, I taught Composition I, which introduced students to a variety of writing concepts, such as the personal essay and the visual text. It is an arts organization with a youth program that works inside the juvenile detention facility and also has a community program for youth in group homes and recently released from prison.
