I recently graduated, with honors and special recognition, from Merced Community College with an AA in Business Administration. I officially worked as a tutor at the college, tutoring upper level math. However, unofficially, I tutored many classmates during my two years at the college, in various subjects. Prior to returning to school, I worked as an Office Technician for the California Department of Corections, Parole Division. During my employment with the Parole Division, I trained Parole Agents and other clerical staff about processes and procedures.

A Little Bit About Me...

I am a Fresno State graduate with my BA Degree in Liberal Studies. I'm currently in the Multiple-Subject Credential Program. I have two years experience tutoring by working for the Madera Adult School CBET Program. I tutor all grades and all subjects. I also have tutored for a semester during my Junior year of high school. I am very well rounded in all subject matters like: history, math, English/langauge arts, music, drama, geography and science topics.
My teaching style is very unique. I start off by just getting to know the student and having them get to know and trust me. Education has always been very important to me. I was a nanny all throughout college and discovered my love for teaching by helping the children I watched learn in a variety of exciting ways. I have a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising and a Minor in Marketing. I have a Multiple Subject Credential and have taught Second and Fourth grade.
