I obtained Secondary Teacher Certification in Social Sciences. I taught high school and middle school Spanish for two and half years at public schools, and completed my student teaching at an alternative school for juvenile criminals. I have recently completed student teaching and have earned my teaching certificate as an art specialist. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of students at different levels with varying abilities. I have had internships at the high school and elementary levels, with time spent both in the art classroom as well as the special education classroom.
